Medical Exchange Club: its contributions to fifty years of medicine, 1971-1972.

Typescript of Dr. Francis M. Rackemann's "The Medical Exchange Club: Its Contributions to Fifty Years of Medicine." The club was founded in 1920 and was composed of members of the Harvard Medical School faculty who dined together monthly to discuss recent advances in each member's field of medicine. Rackemann's history was compiled from the minutes of the club which he kept as secretary since the club's founding. The collection also contains correspondence between Rackemann and Frederick G. Fassett, Jr. about the possible publication of the book, with Fassett's editorial suggestions and revisions. The book does not appear to have been published.
